The European Combined Events Team Championships was a track and field competition for European combined events specialists, with contests in the men's decathlon event and the women's heptathlon. It is organised by European Athletics. It was held annually in 1993–2011 and biennially in 1973–1993 and 2011–2019. It was known as the European Cup Combined Events prior to 2017.
The competition was originally held as a knockout system with preliminary rounds and finals. Since 1983, it was divided into divisions (A, B, C) with relegation and promotion. In 1993, the A, B and C finals were renamed to Super, First and Second League. Each nation participated with four athletes, the best three of them scored for the team ranking.
Until 2011, there were separate team events for men and women, From 2013, the men's and women's scores were combined for the team score.
