A former firefighter, Gordon Gillespie had been a keen amateur photographer and was named Scottish Sports Photographer of the Year in 1993, less than two years after working on photography professionally. When SATS started including photographs in the yearbook from 1992, it was Gordon who was kind enough to allow us to use his photographs.
